What is GRANTtracker?
GRANTtracker is a fully featured management system for corporate bidding management.
Its powerful functions allow the tracking of bid applications, partner contributions
and eventual allocation of funding throughout the life of your projects.
Who produces GRANTtracker?
GRANTtracker was originally conceived by East Sussex County Council. Fitting tightly
within Government requirements for corporate bidding management, it served them
and other local authorities for over four years. Such a great concept had to be
shared with the rest of the funding community so East Sussex turned to GRANTfinder
Ltd., an organisation with over 20 years’ experience in funding.
We’ve developed the product for a further two years to enhance user friendliness,
simplicity and all- round effectiveness as a management tool.
Who can use GRANTtracker?
Although GRANTtracker was developed in association with and targeted at local authorities
and government organisations, its versatility allows it to adapt to any number of
commercial and non-governmental uses.
How do I access GRANTtracker online?
It couldn’t be more simple, just access our website here at http://www.granttracker.co.uk . Once you’ve customised the
database for your organisation, you can allow your users to start entering data.
Soon you’ll have the management and reporting system you need.

Will the data I enter into GRANTtracker be secure?
GRANTtracker uses 128 bit encryption for all data transfers. Its simple but effective
user management system means you can provide access the way you want, to whom you
want within your organisation. Your data is backed up once every 24 hours to ensure
that, should the worst happen, you have peace of mind that your hard work is safe
in our hands.
I don’t want to access GRANTtracker online, is there a CD version?
Yes, in fact the CD version is the first GRANTtracker product we developed. It gives
the security and control which some of our clients insist upon and can be installed
to share information within your organisation over your existing network infrastructure.
How does GRANTtracker manage my funding projects?
Simple, GRANTtracker splits any project into its components:
-
Incoming Projects (funds).
-
Partner Funds.
-
Bid Funds.
-
Matched Funds.
- Outgoing Projects (Funds).
This allows you to track each part of a project separately, with many powerful reporting
tools and features throughout the system it will be a tremendous benefit to you
and your organisation during CPA, CIPFA and Best Value reviews. Some local authorities
are even using GRANTtracker as a tool for managing and monitoring their Local Area
Agreements.
Incoming funds are added and managed with an easy to use “Incoming Project Wizard”.
Once you have the funds recorded in your Incoming Project, you can start allocating
funding to external organisations or even other funding recipients within your organisation
using the “Outgoing Project Wizard”.
How does GRANTtracker help me manage and reduce the risks surrounding large bids?
With the GRANTtracker Claims and Approval Module
For years local authorities have struggled to maintain a sufficient control over
their ability to manage, track and submit claims on time. Often due to high staff
turnover, and bids which manage to sneak past the internal funding guidelines. In
order to combat this problem, GRANTfinder Ltd has added a brand new module to its
new product; GRANTtracker which enables you to ensure firstly, no bids are approved
without the relevant authority and secondly that you will never miss another claim,
project monitoring review or scheme audit again.
- A new suite of reports that encapsulate claims management and monitoring, and also
your internal approval mechanisms.
- Automatic e-mail alerts prior to claims, audits and project monitoring reviews being
required by the funder. This ensures proactive management of funding that has been
attracted.
- Allows you to be confident that all bids are approved by the relevant staff, and
are managed in accordance with internal policy.
The module will ensure that you:
- Never miss a claim or audit again.
- Can easily analyse and monitor organisational efficiencies in relation to bids.
- Achieve simplified and transparent bidding activity and assists you to be proactive
in project/bid management.
